Aged over five years and presented in a stunning bottle designed to resemble a fantastical winged creature, this is more than tequila—it's a work of art, a collector's piece, and an unforgettable sensory experience.
Since 1989, Patrón has been synonymous with ultra-premium tequila, and this collaboration takes that legacy to new heights. Aged over five years in a combination of new and used American and French oak barrels, this extra añejo develops remarkable depth and complexity. The bright golden liquid opens with sweet aromas of dried fruits, nuts, and vanilla. On the palate, expect sweet, fruity, and honeyed flavors with medium French oak influences. The finish is smooth with oak and agave. But the magic doesn't stop there—the bottle itself is a sculptural masterpiece. Designed by Guillermo del Toro, the 750ml bottle forms the "torso" of a fantastical winged creature, topped with a smaller 100ml bottle of aged orange liqueur that serves as the "skull." The entire presentation is housed in a custom altar-style box inspired by Día de los Muertos, complete with collectible accessories, candles, and a serving tray.
