Refund policy

YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER TO PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE. By placing an order you represent that you are at least 21 years of age and that the recipient is at least 21 years of age. An adult signature (21+, valid government-issued photo ID) is required at delivery for every order.

All Sales Are Final

TotalBourbon.com is owned and operated by Total Bourbon LLC, a California limited liability company ("Total Bourbon," "we," "us," or "our"). Because we sell regulated alcoholic beverages, and because state and federal law restrict the return and resale of alcohol, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the limited circumstances described below. Any exception is made solely at Total Bourbon's discretion.

Damaged or Defective Shipments

If an item arrives damaged, broken, or leaking, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging. After approval, we will exchange the item for an identical replacement when it is in stock. The customer is responsible only for the cost of the return shipping label; we cover shipment of the replacement. If an identical replacement is unavailable, we will offer store credit for the affected item.

Incorrect Items or Engraving

If you receive the wrong item or the engraving does not match the approved order details, contact us promptly with your order number and photos. After approval, we will replace the item. The customer is responsible only for the cost of the return shipping label; we cover shipment of the replacement.

Missed, Refused, or Undeliverable Deliveries

An adult age 21 or older with valid government-issued photo identification must be present to sign. If delivery is missed and the carrier returns the shipment to us, the customer is responsible only for the return/reshipment shipping label required to send the same order again. No product restocking fee applies when the same order is reshipped after it returns to us. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

If the customer refuses delivery or declines reshipment and instead requests cancellation or a refund after shipment, the existing all-sales-final and discretionary-refund terms continue to apply.

Exchanges & Store Credit

Where we agree to an exchange or issue store credit, it is provided at Total Bourbon's discretion and subject to product availability. Store credit is issued to your account and does not expire unless required by law.

Discretionary Exceptions & Restocking Fee

Any return or refund we elect to accept outside the circumstances above is entirely at Total Bourbon's discretion and is subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges are never refunded.

Pre-Shipment Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before they have shipped. Pre-shipment cancellations may be subject to a processing fee of up to 10% to cover payment-processing and handling costs.

Non-Returnable

Opened, consumed, or tampered products; gift cards; and any item prohibited from return under applicable alcohol-beverage law are non-returnable under all circumstances.

How to Start a Claim

Email us with your order number and photos of the item and packaging, where applicable, within the timeframes above. We review each claim individually and will respond with next steps.

Shipping: we ship within the United States only and do not ship to Utah, Mississippi, or Rhode Island, or to P.O. boxes. This policy is subject to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Shipping Policy.
