Fortaleza Blanco starts with 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens for 36 hours. The cooked piñas are then crushed by a two-ton volcanic tahona stone, fermented in open-air wooden tanks, and double-distilled in small copper pot stills. Even the bottles are hand-blown in Mexico. The result is a blanco of remarkable depth—rich cooked agave, citrus, butter, and olive on the nose, with bright citrus, vanilla, basil, and lime on the palate. The finish is long, complex, and impossibly smooth.
