Bozal Borrego Mezcal is an artisanal spirit distilled from wild agave harvested in Oaxaca’s mountainous terrain. Crafted using traditional methods—hand-harvested agave, earthen pit roasting, natural fermentation, and double distillation—this mezcal embodies the heritage and craftsmanship of Oaxacan mezcaleros.
What makes Borrego distinctive is its rare use of the “sheep” (borrego) agave varietal, imparting an herbaceous complexity and velvety mouthfeel that set it apart. Richly smoky and layered, it delivers bold flavors of charred citrus, roasted herbs, and subtle sweetness that linger long after each sip.
